Cen.Grand is a relatively unknown Chinese HiFi manufacturer that has excelled in recent years at producing unique technologies in the digital and amplification spaces. These are competing with highly regarded established brand like Rockna and MSB. Naturally, it can be hard to demo these devices and buying blind is always a risk.

Fortunately, Sam @Angelic Sound was available to run me through the merits of the range and listen to a Cen.GrandDSDAC1.0 Deluxe. I’ve had many decoders but I was so taken with the finesse and balance that the Deluxe provides, I’ve been the proud owner for a few weeks now.

I’ve doubled down on the brand to get a Cen.Grand “Silver Fox” headphone amp that provides brilliant control for my numerous demanding headphones.

I've had a good listen to the Line Magnetic LM-300IA Plus and the definition is quite amazing, I've never heard my music in the same way.

The instruments are accurate, the presence is engaging and you just want to keep listening. 

To say I like this amplifier is simply an understatement.

Surely, they don't get any better than this, do they?

Even Anna, my wife, commented about the clarity and she was down the hallway.
