The AS-133 uses two renowned triode tubes, 6SN7 and 2A3, which are rarely found in tube pre-amps. While most pre-amps use smaller 9-pin tubes like the 12AX7, the AS-133’s inclusion of larger, direct-heated triodes (2A3) offers enhanced tonal control, a spacious soundstage, extended high frequencies, and a rich, full-bodied midrange.
